Job Applications and Personal Data Protection, Article of April 15, 2025
Under the framework of dissemination activities of Data Protection in the EU – Raising awareness Jean Monet Project, on 15th April 2025, Dr. Eriko Ceko wrote an article titled: Job Applications and Personal Data Protection, clarifying; “Protecting personal data during the job application process is an important issue requiring a dual commitment from companies and applicants. Companies must ensure they protect applicants’ information by handling it carefully and ensuring it is used only for necessary purposes, while applicants should be aware of their rights and demand transparency and security throughout every stage of the application process. This will contribute to a safer and more trustworthy recruitment process for all parties involved.”
