As part of the academic activities under the Jean Monnet project, a mid-term assessment was conducted for bachelor students from Software Engineering, and bachelor students from Business Administration & Information Technology programs on the subject Data Protection in the EU – Raising Awareness. This evaluation aimed to measure students’ understanding of key GDPR principles, data privacy challenges, and compliance requirements relevant to their respective fields. The assessment encouraged interdisciplinary discussions, fostering a deeper appreciation of data protection’s impact across technology, business, and administrative domains. By integrating theoretical knowledge with practical case studies, students enhanced their critical thinking and analytical skills, reinforcing the importance of GDPR in shaping responsible digital practices.
