Update of the Security Engineering course program in the context of the content review by the current cyber situation in Albania. Given the current situation and cyber security situation in Albania, considering the publication of citizen data and the breach of government systems security, the content of the Security Engineering course was reviewed with the aim of including topics that cover these aspects. The main issues that would be studied to enable the update of the program content had to do with the security of citizen databases (mainly systems under government administration) and privacy. Initially, it was discussed at academic levels and with students. At the end of the study, two topics that have to do precisely with these issues were included in the Security Engineering course syllabus.
